My name is Saunders Allen (he/him). I am a licensed architect from Fairhope, Alabama, educated in Bozeman, Montana and located in Seattle, Washington. I am interested in work that fits well into its context and that is created with empathy. I enjoy thinking critically about the materials we use and how standard assemblies can be modified to create high(er) performance buildings - especially when working within existing structures.

I have a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design and a Master’s of Architecture from Montana State University.

I work for JAS Design Build in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, where most of my time is put towards the design of homes on Lopez Island, Washington.
